Rabolo, IO. steering replacment

I have a 1980 26' robolo IO and i need to replace the steering cable. I have the new cable inwhich i would ilke to install, but i'm haveing problems at the out drive where the cable is to conect to the out drive to trun the out drive. i can't get the shaft out so i can install the cable hardware. does anyone know the trick to doing this? |
