Oilrig job search

My son passed grade 12 in 2008 and applied for work with th South African Police Service. While waiting for his application to be processed, he worked at a casino as barman After about 9 months I contacted the the SAPS recruiting office to find out what's going on with my son's applicaation. They told me that the SAPS does not recruit white poeple anymore. My son wold like to work on an oilrig. How do we go about finding him a job? He's going tot do the offshore survival course from the 1st to the 5 of March at Cape Peninsula University of Technology as well as having the "SA Maritime Safety Authority Medical" test done.
