Oil Field Job Change

I am looking for a job change my former career
was in the oil field back in the 80s.I work for delta drilling in the Texas area as a floor hand for two years my ambition to day would be to start
out as a floor hand and excell to a drilling position. What companys have training, or is it still on the job training only.
