it definitely is not ground check the wire from ignition to the black and yellow striped wire

can't see any information ,i have 60 hp mariner bot serial number not match any time when looking for is a 3 cylinder, not found , i'll like know what year is.

The black and yellow stripped wire needs to short out the power packs, that's how they shut off. test that there is ground to those wires when the ignition is off

check the ign switch, and then the wiring from the key to the engine..
