Right now the motor is mounted all the way down on the transom in the cavitation plate it is looking a little low so I just wondered if there anybody else that had lifted their 25 horse EFI on there Tracker Pro 16 and results.

Thank you,

Drew

Since nobody replied I called Tracker Marine Headquarters, some tracker dealers etc. They all said same thing, leave it down.

So, I raised it where I thought it should be, in third hole down, had to get two strips of aluminum 3 inches wide and however long and an eighth of an inch thick to continue the thickness of the top overhang lip Edge because when I lifted the motor, that little recessed area on face of inside motor mount, which used to set where the top overhanging 1/4" lip is now after raising would contact the lip, spacing the motor incorrectly 1/8" on the transom, so I put these aluminum strips of 1/8" inch flat material between motor mount under yop lip overhang, drilled holes in them and siliconed them to the back so that was totally flush and a raised the motor up into the third hole, puts the cavitation plate about flush with the bottom of the transom perfect, I picked up 2 mph and no spray off bolts above transom!

Well, the results are in, I moved it up 2 holes, now it's in third hole, no more spray back and cavatation plate is flush with water at speed, much better.
