I have a 2000 Mercury Optimax 135 hp with only 50 hours on the motor. The motor idles great, but when I advance the throttle in accelerates for about 10 seconds, and just shuts back down to idle. I just had the water pump impeller replaced, so that is not it. Please let me know your thoughts.
