Mercury 75hp 2016

Engine starts great, runs great up to 2000rpm. After 2000rpm it starts surging. After it runs for 15-20 minutes the surging stops and I can full throttle no problem. It never did this until recently. Only about 50hrs on the engine.

Grant,

Did you get your problem sorted.

My Mercury 75hp 2015 starts fine. I get it up onto the plane at 4500-5200 rpms, but then it loses power and surges up and down (feels like a fuel starvation issue).

After 5 minutes of surging up and down it fixes itself and the motor runs fine the rest of the session without any issue.
