Mercruiser 305 Engine cuts out

Mercruiser 305 cuts out at 3500 rpm, when throttle pulled back engine returnes to normal. Changed fuel pump, new carb kit, swapped all electronics with second motor, replaced fuel filter---still failes. Does the tank have a restriction? The other engine works ok on'same tank. |
