please can someone help me out, my mariner 25hp efi engine keeps going into idle mode after about 5 mins of running ,
also the red LED light comes on and stays on ,,
I have put a new impellor and gasket on also fitted a new thermostat, I am getting good water pressure coming from peewee hole ,
the engine will get me back to harbour in idle mode but wont take full revs,
could the problem be with the water sensor giving a false reading,
I have had the boat in and out of the water 3 times now and keeps happening ,, starting to get fed up ,
any help would be most grateful .
