looking for advice..

by callum Green
(Middlesbrough, England)

hi, im 22 years old and a newly qualified gas safe (old corgi) registered plumber. (4 years studying/apprenticeship). im in a job at the minute that isnt guaranteed for the forseable future with my boss being 64 nearing 65 he`s looking to retire. so my future employement isnt looking to good. iv got a few distant friends that are offshore. what they do i dont know. but my questions are:

1. Is it any easier for me (being a tradesman) to get onboard?
2. with my current qualification is it something that is needed in this line of work?
3. Would you personally recomend anything to me, any adivce?

i enjoy what i do domestically and commercially but to be honest fitting bathroom suites is not really what i want to do for the next 40 + years. from what iv heard from friends and rumours. offshore sounds exactly that type of thing that would suite me.

thanks for your time. all the best. Callum
