Looking for a start job in the oil industry

Hi, I am a 35 year old male who is currently looking for a job in the oil industry at the entry level. I have no experience in the oil industry but i am a hard working guy and a fast learner with lots of ambition to move forward. I have a diploma level certificate, City & Guilds in Basic Engineering, O-level standard in English language and i am computer literate and presently obtaining the ECDL core certificate of the computer. I can also work in the catering section, i have previous experience in kitchen helping. I worked in a factory for 3 years as a maintenance technician and have been employed for the last 16 years as a policeman and a police sergeant respectively.
