I wish to change my field from Mechanical design engineer to oil rig is that possible?

I am Mohan and i hold PR status of Singapore,
I have around 8 years of experience in Design of Automotive .I have done Masters in Mechanical Engineering and would like to switch to the field of oil rig is that possible?,If yes where should i do the basic course for oil rig Pls guide me.
