Hooking up Steering

I have aquired an old 40 HP Johnston motor for my 15 foot fiberglass boat. The boat came with a Rack steering system. The motor used to use the Pulley system. Is there any way to hook up the steering to this motor? Some kind of device or coupling so i can use them together? Please email me your answer.
