hooking up my hydraulic power trim

Have an 85 hp merc 1980? with hydraulic power trim
I can get it to come down,but not up, need help with correct electric hook up. has 2 large power wire (red and Black)and has 2 smaller wires that look like they plug into something (all this is on the pump(servo)selenoid) i have a switch that plugs into something like this |_| (drawing is upside down) switch is Up/up,down/down

(three buttons)
I can"t tell the make of the unit.
I have New fluid in the system and working on bleeding the lines.
goes down great i think it has something to do with the other small plug in wires on the unit.
