Help with Merc 8 repair

My 13-yr-old was "sure" he could pull his 1989 Merc 8 off the dingy and wheel it up to the cabin without my help. OK. After returning, he comes to me and says the Primer Knob on the front of the engine "is broken" (translation: "I broke the primer knob"). We found the part online for six bucks, but I can't figure out how to remove/replace. Any help? |
