Geneviève 33 metre Dutch Luxemotor barge

"Geneviève" is an authentic 33 metre Dutch Luxemotor barge, built in 1927 and converted in 2001 into a luxury live aboard and cruising barge with four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a huge saloon. A complete re-fit in a light and contemporary style having been completed during 2009 and 2010.

This boat is very well equipped and maintained, and has a drive on car deck. Her Volvo Penta Marine Diesel engine, with twin balanced rudders and superb visibility make her a joy to handle. With air conditioning and central heating she is an ideal year round luxury cruising home. There are 2 Master Bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a guest bedroom with it's own shower room and toilet, and a charming separate apartment in the stern with it's own lounge/bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
A life time mooring is available, if required, in a private , beautiful location just 100 metres off the river Saône, in the heart of Burgundy. There is a hard standing for your car and you have a small garden right next to the barge. If you wish you can cruise, or be cruised, to any safe haven from the North Sea to the Mediterranean, and beyond.

Electrical power by shore power, generator or inverter 220 volts/24 volts/12 volts. Whole boat served with 220 volt lighting and power points

Drinking water 4,600 litres, Diesel 1,000 litres, Black/Grey water 1,200 litres. Separate toilet water supply tank 1.200 litres. Full domestic installation oil fired central heating system with 13 radiators. Fujitsu high pressure inverted air conditioning to main saloon and bedrooms. Very well insulated.
