Generator problems

I have a kohler generator on my boat and i have been having problems with it. Sometime the generator can be hard to start up so i have to get in the engine bay and choke it some. Once it is started it will run for a few minutes then cut off. The spark plug looks good and i just replaced the water impeller. Does anyone have any suggestions? Click here to read or post comments.
