Fishing boat spotlight problem

I have two spotlights on a 20' ProLine fishing boat. They are fantastic for about 10 minutes until the fuse blows. I can reset the fuse and the lights will go back on, but for a progressively lesser amount of time. I've checked and rechecked the wiring and grounding and even replaced the lights at one time. Please help this electrical novice.
