engine will not run at typical speed

The other day i took the boat out for the first time and everything went so well that i went out the morning after. I expected the same engine start and everything that i had the day befor and i did. After putting around for awhile i had turned the engine off. when i went to start it back up it went on and would run but it seemed to be stuck at a single speed. I pressed it harder and harder but the boat would not go any faster, just got louder and smoked some. what happened to my boat? |
