The boat was manufactured by Eagle Manufacturing in Matthews, SC. I just bought the same boat yesterday! Same year and features. I would love to find an owner's manual but yours is one of the only posts I've seen on this while surfing the web for a few hours. I've got a Sukuki 40hp motor on it. Will let you know how it runs after I take it out this weekend.

Has anybody weighed the boat? Mine is with the 1989 johnson 48SPL motor (awsome boat) I love it. Purchaced it from an old timer I think the motor is original to boat when sold? I want to know how heavy of motor I can put on it "for one thing". Sits pritty low in the water right now. I,m getting 28-30mph max with a no wind, flat water and 12 gal fuel, 2 deep cycly batt, a hell of a lot of tackle,2 downriggers, 2 10lb anchors and 2- 150lb people,live well full or empty. The prop on my mtr is 12X17deg, what you got other guy with 48hp and what ya gettng out of it? Whats the Max hp for another. I am looking to upgrade to a honda 50hp 4 stroke for fuel effeciency not much heavier than my johnson. Also why is it I always get something ya cant find any info on!!!
