This ?beurtvaartschip?, currently in Amsterdam, is empty and being sold as a project, though is sailable now. The hull, built in Holland circa 1920, is round bottomed and ?Kim keeled? made from riveted steel and is water-tight though in need of work above the water line. The decks steer hut and superstructures were fitted in the 70?s and are serviceable. The motor, a six cylinder DAF 615, is in good condition, starts every time and will reliably push the ship?s 44 tons along at 18 km/h! She?s as steady as a rock, steers beautifully and takes a ?big? sea with graceful ease. She is ready to sail now and is liveable though in need of repair and a refit and you are buying her as such. However with a little time and some investment she?ll become a wonderful ship for pleasure and/or living.
