Steering under power is not very responsive but docking station control has no issues. They are both tied into the EVC system. This is a 2010 Tiara 43 Sovran with 450 hours. Error fault has popped up a few times.
This is my first IPS boat and unnerved when dealer suggests over the phone these steering systems electronic controls fail all the time and I am possibly and looking at several thousands of dollars of repair.
Any one else experience this? Hoping it is bad cable or adapter vs. replacing EVC's
