Clutch not going in to neutral

I own a 350 chev ski boat. A couple months ago the clutch stopped going into neutral. It's a soft clutch so only forward and neutral. I replaced the clutch pad and something else. Got a pro to do all the work and still dont have neutral. Sorry im not the best with mechanics so my description probable doesent help much. Any Ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
