I have to put on new decking on my pontoon. But I am not sure how to disconnect the steering cable. It is one piece all the way to the motor. It looks looks like I could just pull it back out of the steering box that the steering wheel sits on, but am I going to be able to just turn the steering wheel and it will grab the cable to go back in place.
