boat running at good rpm but lost 15mph

i was going through a narrow channel with shallow water and i was turning up sand for a little ways then when i got back in the open stretch and put down the throttle i was getting 5200 rpm but only got around 30mph before that i was getting 50.the blades got a couple of little nicks but nothing serious what can it be? i have a18 foot bowrider with a 4.3 volvo inboard outboard. |
