Im looking at starting a new carrer in the oil industry but I need more info on how to go about getting a job on a offshore rig and what else I'll need to do and how to go about doing it get the job before I apply.( i.e HUET ) Thank you. spikiemikey@orange.net Answer It all depends on what career you are seeking and what skills and qualifications you hav enow. These are tough times although there are many rigs hiring outside the North Sea. For drilling and entry level floorhand you need go talk to drilling companies. BOSIET and HUET courses are not cheap so best find out early
