88 Supra

My husband has an 88 Supra 351 engine. Its turning over nicely, however, not starting! He has checked all the regulars...oil filter, ignition coil, spark plugs, gas, battery is new, etc. We are thinking voltage regulator (advice from a friend), but know there are a million things it could be. Any ideas of what else to check? Thank you..
