4.3 omc turns over slowly and wont start new batterys

I have twine 1989 4.3 omc cobras port engine starts fine, starboard engine turns over a few times and then stops.when i try to start it again it makes the port engine stall .tried to start starboard engine one more time heard a pop !checked engine to find terminal blew off the battery.replaced starter but still getting a big draw from somewhere turns over a little faster ,but still seems a little slow .checked distribitor points are burnt bad .only getting red spark after replacing points still wont start seems to have affected alt. on port engine to not charging on port side any ideas?? |
