Help, trying to pick the best top end prop.
the boat: is a small pontoon boat, approx. 14' long. It weights around 1300 lbs.
Our current prop is a 3 blade alum prop with a 9.9 x 13 pitch. its top speed is 10.4 mph but its only turning 4000 rpm . The motor is supposed to run at 5500 /6000 rpms.
The orginal prop was a 9.25 x 12 pitch 3 blade alum Honda prop. it would take off and achieve its top speed at 3500 rpms. ut would continue to run up till it hit the rev limit at a little over 6200 rpms.
