The boat was running fine two weeks ago and shifting properly. But after taking it out tonight for a slow cruise with the wife noticed at very low speed that when I throttle up it slams into gear. It still moves forward at very slow speeds but when I introduce more throttle the boat seems to slam into gear. The boat will shift into forward and reverse OK. It is a little stiff at the controller. Just wondering if any ideas of where to start with repair?
