1999 5.7 EFI electrical problem won't start

1999 Mercruiser 5.7 EFI won't start. Have had this problem multiple times. One time it will be the distributor module, one time the distributor pickup sensor, next time the coil, next time distributor module, next time pickup coil. I do not think these parts are the problem, I think them repeatedly going bad is a result of the real problem. When they check it with mercruiser software it just gives them the bad component, they replace it and it runs for a few hours and something else fails. This engine has less than 100 total hours since new.
