Just got that fixed.

I had the exact same issue with my boat. Check your spark plugs and Im guessing they are oil fouled. If so your stator is probably failing. My 1996 Jazz had the same problem. At high RPM the Stator doesn't deliver enough spark to the plugs and your plugs foul with oil and stall out. It cost me $680 at the marina to replace my stator. Boat runs like a bat outta hell now. Is it worth the investment.
