1995 Bayliner 1850 power trim

I have a starboard mounted Comander 3000 panel mounted remote shifter on my boat. It is the original shifter. The power trim will only work in the down position using the up and down switch. The trailer trim works fine. When I push the UP arrow, nothing happens initially. Last time I tried it, I kept working the trim up and down with the switch and trailer trim. Eventually I got the up switch to work a little. but it would not go up far enough. I'm wondering if the switch may be corroded or if there is a harness plug that could be corroded. |
