1993 Mercury 75 hp tiller with electric start

by Randy Merchant

When turning the ignition key nothing happens, not even a cluck. Also, when trying to trim motor nothing happens. I swapped the battery but the problem remains. Is there’ a possible fuse issue here? Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciative.

Not sure whether there is a fuse in your system however use a meter and check for voltage at the ignition key, also check all connections both positive but in particular the negative side, as looks like voltage missing. If you don't have voltage at ignition key then there is an open fuse or connection somewhere in the supply.
