1990 mercury 90 hp 2 stroke

When I turn the ignition on, the 20 amp fuse located under the engine cowling next to the solenoid blows. If I do not turn the ignition switch on, everything works including the trim tilt and all electronics.

Does anyone know why this is happening??

There is a fault in the ignition system circuit, check the start solenoid circuit for short on terminals and so on
