1990 lund tyee

I have just purchased a used a 1990 Lund tyee. It has a drain hole about 1 1/4 inch, on the port side under the livewell. What is its function in relation to the live well. Thanks Alan

The hole you are referring to drains the livewell when the plug is pulled in the livewell. There is also an overflow drain hole on the side of the boat.
