1990 Beratta Phaser 5.0 Cobra

Just purchased this boat, it starts fine out of water, hooked to hose, once we get it in the water, the first time it ran for about 2-2.5 hours, we shut it down to pull inner tube in and tried to restart and had no luck. Was thinking it may have been a vapor lock. However, this morning we put it in for only the second time, it started right up, ran for about 20-30 minutes, went to throttle it down and it died. Could not get it started. There seems to be a lot of gas being pumped into the carborator went trying to start. Any idea of what could be the problem? |
