I have a 1990 Thompson 195 cutlass with a 5.0 engine. removing the sparkplugs one broke off because there's not enough clearance to get a socket on it cleanly with out the manifold pushing it away causing the plug socket to break off the plug. The old one broke on removal, and installing the new one, the same clearance issue caused it to break also. Is there a "special tool" for removal, or does the manifold have to be removed? Ugh!
