1989 Sea Ray 19 ft

Were out with the family over the weekend, running up river, nice day... All the sudden we heard a noise coming from the engine compartment. We shut it down immediately, however it had overheated. We were towed back to the slip and let it cool down. Raised the prop, thinking maybe junk had gotten into the impeller.. The next morning, we inspected things a little more extensively... The oil still very clear, oil pressure great. We started her up, lo and behold, no overheating, gages ran perfect. Decided to take it to the loading dock and trailer it to the shop...went into reverse just fine, however, it will not shift into drive... What can we expect from the shop? This is our first season and our first boat.. We are feeling pretty down in the dumps. Click here to read or post comments.
