Check the oil in the lower unit. If it's a Mercruiser, there is a screw in the side of the out drive flat are near the top. Oil should run out of it when you unscrew it. Milky oil means you have a seal leaking and water is in the lower unit oil. You may just need the shifting lever adjusted. Good luck. Sea Ray is a very good brand of boat.
