1985 70 HP Evenrude starting problems
1985 70 HP Evenrude starting problems I was out in the boat yesterday and noticed the engine laboring and not able to go full throttle even though the lever was in full throttle I suddenly heard a snap from the motor and all quit I was unable to start the engine and had to be towed back At home I was unable to turn the flywheel by hand, removed all the plugs and still no success I was able to turn the flywheel with a wrench on the nut, but it was tight When I put the gear lever in reverse or forward, the prop would turn, in neutral it would not turn as it is supposed to I recharged the battery and even though the starter engaged the flywheel, it was unable to turn it Pls Help |
