I NEVER FOUND A WIRING DIAGRAM FOR MY 1978 CAJUN BOAT SO WHAT I DID WAS REWIRED EVERYTHING MY SELF EVERYTHING WORKED PERFECT U HAVE TO UPGRADE ON THE SWITCHES BUT I DID THE WIRING MY SELF AND REMOVED SOME OF THE SWITCHES

Well i got a 78 cajun bought it for 600$ and after a bit of work and some more $$$ i got it working however wiring has been difficult to say the least. would have loved to shoot my rigger. Anyways i have been working on a wiring diagram for most of the mark V boats and with the original equip, but it's a mess and i'm slowly replacing switches and stuff.

No Such Manual Exists by: Airborne!
During that era boats were all custom rigged at the dealership by boat riggers and this included wiring. This was before the day of complete factory built boats. Wiring done by riggers was more an art than science and as such their were no diagrams.
